Manchester City-Huddersfield Town Preview

Manchester City look to continue their barnstorming ways and run their winning streak across all competitions to 17 matches Sunday when they face new boys Huddersfield Town at John Smith's Stadium.

City (11-1-0), who have not dropped points since a 1-1 draw against Everton at home on Aug. 21, secured the top spot in their Champions League group with a 1-0 victory over Feyenoord on Tuesday. Raheem Sterling scored in the 88th minute as the Dutch side proved resolute in defence, netting his fourth goal in group play, but it also served an ominous sign to the rest of the Premier League that Pep Guardiola's team can get the gritty victories in addition to the glitzy ones.

"A win is better than not winning," Guardiola told Manchester City's official website after making seven changes to the starting XI that won 2-0 at Leicester City on Nov. 18. "In the first half, we could have been better. Sometimes it's difficult. When you win a lot of games and you have already qualified, but we had the chance to finish first which we have now achieved.
