Leicester City rallies for 1-1 draw with West Brom

After a thoroughly uneventful first half, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion put forth an exciting final 45 minutes of play that ended in a 1-1 draw Monday at King Power Stadium in.

The match began with relatively few noteworthy events, but the second half commenced with a bang as West Brom keeper Boaz Myhill violently collided with Jamie Vardy on the edge of the penalty area, a collision that would force Myhill to play the remaining minutes carrying a leg injury.

West Brom's Nacer Chadli found the back of the net in the 63rd minute with a superb free kick that left Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel rooted to the ground. Nevertheless, the Foxes eventually broke through and equalized with an 80th minute goal scored by Riyad Mahrez, set up brilliantly by a Ben Chilwell cross and an Islam Slimani headed pass.
