West Ham beats Huddersfield 2-0
West Ham threw everything they could muster at Huddersfield and reaped the rewards with a 2-0 win at the London Stadium on Monday.
Under-pressure Slaven Bilic was relieved to see his team giving everything, and Javier Hernandez hit the bar before a stroke of luck arrived in the 72nd minute when Pedro Obiang's effort took a huge deflection off Mathias Jorgensen and looped over Jonas Lossl. Substitute Andre Ayew made it two with an opportunistic close-range finish from a corner, but Huddersfield didn't give up and struck the bar themselves through Tom Ince.
In the end, some committed defending saw the game out for the happy Hammers.
